Steve Loopstra
Executive Director

Rev. Steve Loopstra is Executive Director of Prayer Transformation Ministries, a ministry serving the prayer movement and the Church in Minnesota and nationally. Steve is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He served as an Alliance pastor for more than 20 years. Steve, with his wife Marilou, have pastored in California, Iowa and Minnesota. In addition they have served as missionaries in Europe. Steve has helped give leadership to the prayer movement in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, in the Twin Cities area, and in national prayer initiatives. Steve is an author, speaker, and prayer leader locally and nationally, a member of the National Prayer Committee, and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Church Prayer Leaders Network.

Steve has also led prayer journeys to Mali, West Africa; Berlin, Germany, and Muslim North Africa. He leads Pastors Prayer Summits, Concerts of Prayer, and teaches and preaches on prayer and revival in churches and conferences. Steve and Marilou have two grown children, Jonathan and Esther.

Rose Gebo
Administrative Assistant and Project Manager

Rose grew up in St. Paul and moved to Minneapolis as a young adult. In 1969 she was invited to attend a conference at Bethany Missionary Church in Bloomington where she sat under the anointed teaching of Mel Tari, missionary to the USA from Indonesia and author of Like a Mighty Wind. Through Mr. Tari’s message, she clearly heard the Holy Spirit call her into repentance and then into relationship with Jesus Christ. Her salvation experience was radical and became the launching pad for a life in pursuit of God and His holiness.

Rose has served God in various capacities, with experiences including missions trips to southern Africa, China, and Guatemala, working in the missions department of Grace Church of Eden Prairie, encouraging her family’s involvement with missions, hosting prayer meetings and Bible studies, acting as a lighthouse to her neighborhood, and coordinating the Shakopee Women’s Prison Ministry.

Rose lost her husband to cancer. She has two daughters and one grandson.
